But as for the diabetes related numbers - :thup:
A1c was 5.0
FBS was 73
And in a week and a half with no meds, my readings are averaging around 86.

that looks great daryl! I love being able to control my blood sugars with diet rather than meds- I hated taking metformin, and then when I was pregnant- I had to do insulin 4x a day- I hated it!

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone :)
Paul, my diet is just a simple and fairly strict low carb one.
2 eggs with butter or cream cheese, 1 bacon or sausage, half a Fiber Rye cracker with butter for breakfast.
3 to 4 oz meat, salad with cheese, olive oil or no-carb dressing, steamed veggie for lunch and dinner.
Handful of pecan halves or cubed cheese for a snack around 9 AM.
A couple of red hot pork rinds for occasional snack.
