Hi,
Thought I'd pass this along. I've been LCing for about 90 days.
I needed a lowcarb snack so I went to the store and bought
about 10 lowcarb bars. Nine tasted like cardboard. Couldn't
finish them. The tenth was an Apple Cinnamon Myoplex
protein bar. Nice texture. Not dry. Covered with a
white yogurt substance, not the fake chocolate that tastes
bad. They have four flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry,
Lemon Cheesecake, and Cookies and Cream. All are very
good. They have 30 grams of protein, 220 calories,
6 grams of fat, and only 2 grams of carbs. Also, about
30% of the dailey recommended amounts of the more
popular vitamins.
Also, the same company, EAS, makes another line called
AdvantEdge. Same bar, just slightly smaller size ( 60 grams
versus 70 grams ).
My only problem is I'm eating too many of them ( 3 per day )
and I may be getting too much protein. :spin:
