I am gaining weight whats with that? I started doing Atkins to lose weight not gain and I know for a fact im not going over my 20 carbs I watch for that

Could be a number of things....are you drinking enough water? Eating too much salt? Are you in the week before your period? Has it just been one day of gain on the scale?

All of these things can contribute to weight gain, if you are sticking to the plan then your weight gain will more than likely be water weight, and you will see it drop sure enough.

If you're worried it;s more permanent, then give us some menus and we can look into what you're eating that might be causing a gain.

+1 on all the TOM issues; that happens to most of us of reproductive age.

OTOH, it's also possible to eat too much, regardless of carb counts. Only you know whether that's a factor.

Are you steadily gaining weight over time, or are you describing a scale fluctuation? Unfortunately weight loss isn't always linear; the scale may fluctuate upwards some days, but it's a temporary and normal event. Why not see where you are in a week?
