I'm so happy I stumbled on to this site. I started my Atkins diet last week, and was very frustrated with how slowly I was losing. Then yesterday, I found this site, spent quite a bit of time reading through the various postings, and discovered how I had been sabotaging myself.
Even though I read the Atkins book cover to cover, I still included stupid things in my diet (like skimmed milk) which I had presumed wouldn't hurt. How wrong I was!
Yesterday was the first day I followed the diet to the letter, and to my surprise I woke up this morning having lost - in one day! - as much as I had lost in the entire week before!
