My doctor recently recommended I begin a low carb diet because of high triglycerides. I attempted many versions including SugarBusters, ProteinPower, etc. but found them VERY difficult to stay with...I kept going wild and ended up cheating. Until I found CAD. I just purchased the Heart Healthy version (have not completely plowed though it yet) but I certainly identify with the carbohydrate addition. If I eat a donut for breakfast...all I want all day is donuts. However, if I eat a hard-boiled egg for breakfast I am able to stay on board.

Anyone else out there with health problems like mine?

You have a smart doctor. Low-carbing does an excellent job of getting the triglycerides down to a healthy level.
