Please don't flame!! :)

I'm new here and have looked over the site, know about Fitday, etc. and was wondering if I'm missing it. Some other sites I've been on have topics where people can post meal plans for motivation and guidance for newbies.
I'm not lazy!!! :) but was hoping someone could lend me one (only one) meal for the induction phase.

I'm about 5'7 160 lbs.

Looking for a 1500 cal, less than 20 g carb (doy you say) meal. And not to ask too much, but maybe one that is broken up into 4-5 meals?? Ha.

Thanks for anyone who is kind enough to lend your research to someone who hasn't started yet.

I'm looking forward to the success you all have had!!

Hi NDM, and welcome. :)

I think the first place you need to look is in "the book." :read: I see from your profile that you have not yet read the book, so I would like to encourage you to get yourself a copy of Dr Atkins' New Diet Revolution before you go any further.

Please feel free to keep asking questions, but you will find that many of them, for example what foods you can and cannot eat, are answered in the book. It's not just a matter of carbs, but which carbs. ;)

All the best to you.

I'll give you an example of what I eat:

4-5 strips of bacon OR low carb pancakes OR Bowl Muffin OR nothing(dont recommend this...but I usually skip breakfast because I'm just not hungry.)

Snack: 3 oz cold grilled chicken from the fridge (dipped in hot garlic butter) OR a few hot wings

lunch: spinach or regular salad with a little blue cheese and 5 oz chicken cut up on it OR roast beef or turkey wrapped around fresh spinach or arugala OR hot wings

snack: 2 hotwings or 3 oz chicken/w garlic butter or roast beef around spinach

dinner: is fish/meat/chicken/ with salad & bleu cheese dressing OR hot wings (can you tell I like them? :D )

I went into fitday and figured out a day with a bowl muffin at bfast, chicken 1 w/butter, 1 w/coconut oil for both snacks, 2 roast beef wraps around spinach with mayo at lunch, and chicken with salad & cucs and 3 tbls bleu cheese dressing at dinner. (this is alot more than i usually eat in a day but ...)the totals were as follows: 1466 cals, 19 carbs, 9 fiber, and fat was close to 60 %

I'm trying to keep my cals under 1400 and total carbs under 20. Hope this helps a bit.
