Hello All

I stumbled on this web-site via a link regarding sugar substitutes and found it really weird. They do seem to advertise high-carb/low fat food ( they recommend Bagles and such), but nearly all the books they advertise for on their web-site, are for LC diets ???
Have a look yourself:

They endorse the USDA food pyramid, and that certainly isn't low carb. They also have articles about how "fat makes you fat". Nothing about lowcarb on there that I could see, but yet all those ads for the LC books....hmmm. Seems like they're just trying to present info on different types of "diets", most of it conflicting, LOL. Not where I'd go for my health info! ;)

I didn't think much of them, when they said, that basically all sugar-substitutes are safe. They didn't even mention that they contain a source of Pheylalanin ( I think this is the right spelling), or that excessive consumation (none of the labels ever says though, how much is excessive  ) of some of those sweeteners cause diarrhoea (well there is a thought for all those, who suffer from constipation.... ;) )
