Hello Everyone. I would like to introduce myself. I am a divorced band director with 2 children living in South Georgia. I had the gastric bypass surgery almost 3 years ago now and want to make sure I stay the way I look now. I want to take care of the surgery, but most importantly myself and my children. Is there any one else out there who's had the surgery? I want to know if I am at risk of stretching it back. I also want to know how can I tell if I have stretched it back. I want to talk to someone who's had a long term success with it and get tips. Anyway, I hope to talk to someone soon. :)

Hi and welcome.

I've seen several members around who have had the surgery... I can't recall who at the moment; it's too early. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/ernaehrung/food-smiley-021.gif But they're around.

Low carb is a great choice for you since your meals are small and nutrient-dense. The only meal I regularly eat off a dinner plate is salad - everything else, I eat from little plates.

Good luck.
