Hi there. My husband and I are going to start Atkins on Monday because we're going to Mexico for our honeymoon in 30 days. We're both pretty apprehensive about this diet, but we're going to try and make each other stick with it. I had an idea: every time one of us strays we will have to put a dollar into the "fat jar." That money goes toward something in Mexico. Maybe it will work, maybe not....

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Sorry if I come off as a little unenthousiastic. I'm just nervous about falling off the wagon like I've done so many times before (Sugarbusters was the worst). I'm really committed and ready to go! :)

LatinGuy, we're going to Zihuatanejo (of Shawshank Redemption fame). 30 days to go! I'm so pumped. :D

My alias (PikaPikaChick wouldn't fit) comes from the Japanese word pikapika, which means sparkly. And yeah, I think Pikachu is the epitome of cuteness.
