Hey folks...I'm new here. Not really new to forums. I am starting Atkins for like the 20th time in about 3 years. I have had a lot of success with Atkins, but I don't really have a lot of success with staying on it. Therefore I have had a lot of yo yo experiences with it. I can stay on a low-no carb diet when I try. I have a great deal of success when I combine it with exercise.

I know this nutritional approach is right for me. I just need to figure out a way to make it work. Thusfar weight watchers and other support groups haven't been accesible to me (or haven't helped). I am hoping that this forum might give me more assistance and advice as I make my assent up Mt. Fatlympus.

Welcome, Not sure if you would consider it or not but maybe South Beach might be a better choice for you? Hubby and I found we could stick to that but not atkins. You could get the book from the library to give it a try. But there is a lot of info here too. Glad you are giving LC another chance.
Good Luck,

My thanks to you all for your advice and wishes. I had a rough first week, but I am primed for another try this week. I like the idea of starting a journal. I'll give it a go this week.
