Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to all. I began the LC eating about a month ago. I am hypoglycemic and am in great need of eating correctly. My body can no longer tolerate carbs. I need to lose 30 to 40 lbs. I am not focusing on the weight loss as much as eating correctly for my health. Diabetes runs in my family and I don't want to get it. I found this site last night while searching for low carb recipes.

This site is great! I've found other people "finally" who know what I am talking about and have experience in eating the low carb way. Looking forward to participating. Oh btw, my name is Zack.

well the part about diabetes running in the family. My mother is insuline dependant and I had gestational diabetes (pregnancy diabetes). I have ben diagnosed as insulin ersistant. I have been LC for three weeks now. I am always checkin out something on this board. Great recipes, support and answers or at least suggestions to everything. Welcome! :wave:
