Hi, I started doing atkins September 1st. I've been doing great and lost 20 lbs my first two weeks and now I've stuck for some reason. It's kind of frustrating but I'm sticking with it. I know atkins works because a lot of my family members follow the atkins lifestyle and lost a lot of weight and are much healthier since changing the way they eat.

Hello and welcome

Sometime when you lose a lot of weight in a short period of time you body needs to catch up. so i creates a stall so it can rest. it take a lot of energy for you body to lose weight. also don't worry about the weight so much because you could be losing inches. take a tape measure and keep tract.
I hope you enjoy the forum

Hello and Welcome
A 3rd or 4th week stall is not uncommon. Don't worry.. just keep it up and the scale will begin moving again.

Take care!

Hello...I agree with the above statement. After the first couple of weeks the weight loss tapers off a bit..don't worry it will happen again.

Congrats on your weight loss. Definitely don't feel bad abouting stalling, you will break out of it. If you haven't started a journal yet, consider it! It's a great way to track your progress and to meet the others, they're all great!
