Here is how I solve this problem.I know this may sound like torture but open up your refrigerator and pick out the best looking thing in there.Open it up and take big wiff.If that just makes it worse just think this "Failure is....sacrificing what we want most for what we want Now!!!!"So in other words,go ahead and eat but if you dont in the long run youll get the ultimate prize.Losing weight :agree: :D

Please Reply and tell me what you think.

That is great advice... I really like that saying too.... just hang in there and you will get to your goal weight before you know it.
Being a teen and dedicating yourself like this to weight loss just shows how strong you are! Being a teen is tough anyway! :agree:

Talk to you soon,

Yeah... I agree with the quote. I have pretty much taken out all high carb foods in the kitchen though. It's too tempting.

The best way to cover this sort of thing is to have things in the fridge that you can eat - if you are hungry don't deny yourself, that's where things awry.

I was in the same boat the other day, hadn't been shopping for lowcarb stuff, got hungry opened the fridge and the pantry - nothing but carby stuff. I ended up going to the freezer and pulling out 2 minute steaks. Worked a treat.

I gave away all the carb filled food to my parents when i started lcing, so i am not tempted when i open the fridge. :)

my house is filled with carbs! It doesn't bother me though - I do the shopping and I buy all stuff that the BF likes that I DON'T. Muah :) There are things that are okay, but that I could really care less if I ever eat or not. There are certain foods that I just won't buy and if he wants them, he has to get them when we go out to eat :P He's very supportive and with the plan I'm on now being so limited, its like other foods don't exist anyway to me and I don't get cravings - the only time I ever get a craving for something that I'm not supposed to eat is when I have something that is a prepackaged low carb product - so I don't do those at all anymore.

Everyone is different though - this is what works for me
glad to hear that so many others are doing well!

I try not to have high carb stuff around the kitchen. There have been a couple times I have carb binged and luckily the few carb products I have laying around still (rice, crackers) are not very tempting to me. The I'll end up having coffee with way too much cream, sweetner and cocoa, but it's better than eating the candy, chips or cookies I would eat if they were around.
