I am brand new to this. I am very excited and I am very glad all of you are here. I have read some success stories and it is so exciting. I saw someone that started where I am. If they can do it so can I!

Pinkys,

Welcome to the group (listen to me, going on like I'm a long time member -- I
really just got involved about 2 1/2 weeks ago)! I *wish* I was starting out
at your weight -- I started out at 378.6 lbs on May 12 and am currently 364
lbs. I'm not following any particular diet, just doing general low carb. I keep
my carbs between 25 and 35 grams / day and drink a TON of water -- over
100 oz / day. I've also cut out all sodas (diet and otherwise) and the crazy
thing is, I don't really miss it (I was easily a six pack a day addict before).

Once you decide to kick it into gear and do it, a low carb diet is MUCH easier
to follow than a low fat diet.

Well, I've rambled long enough. If you need someone to talk to, bounce ideas
off of, etc... drop me a line!

Hugs,

Cynthia :there:
