undefinedive been taking metamucil that has sucrose as the 1st ingred. then physillium. since i started this diet im afraid to take it since it has sucrose. that stuff works great too! the total net carb is 5 grams for a serving. would i be still safe to take this stuff? i just bot a whole can of it recently. the sugar free stuff has aspartame in it.

Sucrose is sugar. You really don't want that.

Most things that end in "ose" are sugar, Dextrose, fructose, Sucrose. Etc.

I use Benefiber... on their site they even talk about low carb dieters... I use a teaspoon in my decaf coffee everymorning.
