This has been on our New Year's Eve table for 30 years!!!!It's our family favorite and a staple for my daughter when she does Atkins!

1 can of Tuna or Salmon, drained
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce (more if you like spicy)
8 oz cream cheese
1 TB grated (fresh onion...white, yellow or red)
1 tsp lemon juice. (bottled is fine if there's no fresh)
And now...the secret that sets it apart and makes it great!
1 tsp horseradish! Yup...you can even add a bit more if you're a horseradish fan, like me.
Soften the cream cheese a bit. Add the rest. Mix well. At this stage you can use it like a spread. Or: to make a ball...chill for about an hour. Form into a ball and roll in fresh chopped parsely and chopped walnuts or pecans.
