Hi everyone! Just started Atkins a few weeks ago after a scary trip to my doctor. I was feeling malaise and experiencing occasional chest pains. After an exam and some tests, the only thing he found wrong was that my triglycerides were three times normal. His opinion was that my problems were caused from being overweight, out of shape, and overstressed.

So I went out that weekend to celebrate my birthday and ate, drank and had a blast! That Monday, I started Atkins. At first, I just followed the eating routine. Then last week, I added morning exercise. This week, I'm adding the supplements. Kind of a slow start, but I have lost 13 pounds so far and feel great!

I just found this site and it has been a tremendous help already. I'm looking forward to getting more experience in my new "save my life-style" and contributing to the forum.
