not sure about South Beach but Altkins is max 20 during Induction (2weeks). Some folks stay on longer befire going on to maintenance.

Which lo carb plan are you on?.... If you get the book about your plan...you will know for sure how many carbs you can have. It is highly recommended by almost everyone here, that the book about your plan is definitely a must!
