I needed something to bring to work for a snack so I packed some celery sticks. Well, I didn't want just plain cream cheese, so I softened about 2 Tbsp. of cream cheese in the microwave for about 10 sec. and mixed it with about 1 Tbsp. of ranch dressing. It tasted really good and is great when you're in a pinch for something to eat.

Another good dip for taking to the office.. but needs to be served warm.

1 package cream cheese
1 container of sour cream
homemade taco seasoning
1 pound of browned ground beef.

Brown beef add taco seasoning, mix in cream cheese and sour cream.

These are all things we can have.

To use as dippers? Pork rinds or vegetables or fried cheese or pepperoni slices put in the microwave and cooked into chips.

This is my very favorite, and perfect for this time of year! I like to spread it on slices of turkey breast for roll-ups. :yum: :yum: :yum:

Dottie's Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread
http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lowcarb-recipe-help-suggestions/510619-cranberry-cream-cheese.html

8 ounces whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup cranberries
2 tablespoons splenda Granular Sweetener, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel or lemon peel
1 pinch ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons water

Let cream cheese sit at room temo for 15 minutes while you prepare the cranberry mixture.

In a small saucepan, place the cranberries, splenda, orange or lemon peel, nutmeg and water. Bring to a simmer until the cranberries pop. Add more water by the tablespoon if needed to keep the mixture wet, but not swimming in liquid. Turn off heat and let cool to room temp. Mash further if you want the consistancy smoother.

Once cooled, fold into cream cheese then refrigerate at least 1 hour before using as a spread, to allow flavors to blend. Spread on sliced turkey breast for a taste of Thanksgiving!

Yields 12 ounces, or 20 heaping 1-tablespoon servings

Here are tweaks I use for that recipe for Cranberry Dip;

I use regular cream cheese, not the whipped kind.
I use liquid sweetener (Sweetzfree.)
I have used orange food extract instead of the orange zest, and it turned out fine.

That lowers the carbs a little, which allows me to add about 3/4 cup of cranberries. (I love cranberries! :D )
