Hello everyone. I have been following the Atkins Diet since 7/1/01. I found this website while looking for some help. I have been doing the program RELIGIOUSLY and lost 4.5 lbs the first week but not an ounce since then. I am getting married in October and really want to look my best. I am jumping over the the stalls/plateaus board right now.

Welcome to the forum bride!

Have you been a yo-yo dieter? Any medical issues, ie. thyroid problems, asthma or other medications? Eating low carb substitutes for high-carb foods? In general, people who have a little weight to lose will lose slower that people with a lot of weight to lose though the % of weight lost will be the similar.

Tell us what your daily eating is. We may be able to give you some pointers.
