Hi low carbers! Can someone tell me about the whey protein? It's listed in some lc recipes. how does it work and is it something that can really benefit someone on Atkins? I started in June and have lost 15 lbs so far. It's not easy, but I feel better and have accepted that this is a way of life for me. Usually I eat bacon or sausage and a couple of eggs fixed any way for breakfast. I take the Atkins Basic 3, Essential Oils, and Dieter's Advantage. Don't know if they help, but they can't hurt. Appreciate any response.

I use Designer Whey from GNC. Its kinda pricey, but I limit the use to the occasional shake/smoothie when I'm really falling low on calories.

The whey protien has yet to knock me out of ketosis or stall me.
