I started drinking Green Tea - - basically because I like the taste but also due to the anti-oxidents in helping boost immune system, etc... I also noticed that it can help in losing weight which makes me wonder if that may be the reason I dropped 2 lbs in last 4 days - - I really didn't change my food intake...
Anyone have success in adding Green Tea to their diet and found that it speeds up your loss?

I wish!!! :p
It's possible though. Green tea is supposed to be wondrous stuff. :) Unfortunately, I drink it pretty regularly and while I've been exercising and losing a good amount of inches, no noticable weight loss.
Good for you. Perhaps green tea played a part in your visit from the whoosh fairy!

Hi Yvonne & Skamito!
According to the exercise guru's in the supplement/nutrition and exercise threads ...
green tea between 300-500mg will raise your metabolism 4% but that's 4-10 cups per day. So you can opt for a tablet but be sure to get 60%polynols (whatever that means - but it's on the bottle) ;)
Personally, i think it could be right... i've been taking the supplement and drinking green tea for about a week and i'm still losing. I'm sure it's just one of a combination of factors - but whatever helps!

I drink green tea, but see too much of a difference. I know I feel better when I am drinking it.
Are you drinking decaf? or regualr green tea?
