Today I ate poorly in the morning. Namiamo bars are starting to look like cheeze. Got it back under control by the afternoon. Worked out in the afternoon with 30 min eliptical, 15 min bike, 15 min raquetball, 30 min strenth trianing, 15 minutes stretching.

Hiyah Pink. Saw your note in my gym log and decided to stop by. Seems you're doing great :thup: You sound motivated and very determined :) I'm amazed you're managing all this on just Induction level carbs - you're very fortunate.
More or less cardio is a matter of choice. I've done months of fat loss w/o any cardio and other months with more than average. I firmly believe that change is what works - if you keep doing the same thing over and over you can get into a rut. Alternating high intensity and moderate intensity cardio is also a good idea - they both burn calories but effect metabolism and fat burning differently. Again, variety and the spice of life and all that :) And then again, some days all I can do is cardio - the muscles are still too sore to do anything else :rolleyes:

I just thought I would also stop by after your kind note in the Fitness log.
My inspiration to stay motivated and consistent with my workout is my sister Tanya, also TigerSue on the board.
She has PCOS and. over the course of a 6 month period, using consistent exercise at home lost 12 pounds.
Now that doesn't seem like alot..but for someone with PCOS that is the world.
She is still consistent.. so its a great example of what exercise can do :-)

Still plateau'd. Really want to exercise. Will start tomorrow...one day early, but I will go slow and be careful. I am getting very frustrated becasue the scale refuses to move even though I am in Ketosis.

Thank you for your kind words. I kinda keep this log to motivate myself and forget others read it!!! I had some work done on my uterus, but I expect all is well. I am taking penicillen and antibiotics which could be responsible for the stall....only 5 days left. I am doing great tho....just want to see the scale move!! Take Care and thanks again.

Waited to work out today. Usually I do it first thing in the morning. This morning I had some tea and bacon and relaxed for about an hour and then went to the gym. Felt much more energized and strong throughout the workout.

I wanted to stop by and say hello and thanks so much for writing a note in my neglected gym log...lol. I am trying to re-start the exercise process and was inspired by how much exercise you're already doing. WTG!
I was going to stop by your journal but I don't think you've started one yet. If you get a chance, try to start a journal so that everyone can visit you there. Don't get overwhelmed though...it looks like you're doing agreat job keeping track of things right here.
I started in August of 2001 and have been going down in a slow and steady manner. I need to get really serious about the exercise part though. By July, the time that i hope to hit my goal weight, I'd love to see a fully transformed body. :roll:

May 14-OK I didn't drop off the face of the earth! I had company and then moved and now finally have my computer back! I have been doing some walking but not enough. Plan to do about 6 miles today on a difficult course. I moved to the top of a small mountain so no matter where I go...the homestrech is a killer! On june 7 I am doing a walk for charity....40 miles...yes I said miles...I lost a sister to cancer in January and I am raising money for the Look Good Feel Better program which assists women in hospitals who are battling cancer. I truly believe that as women we are always concious of how we look and if a wig, some moisutizer or a nice facial can make someone feel better than we need to provide that! I will be faithful in recording on this site again...I have really missed all my online low carb buddies!

May 23- Have done a couple of 4-5 mile walks over the last two weeks. Must walk every day. Today I walked about 4 miles at a fast pace. My goal is to walk everyday, do lunges, do arms and abs on a daily basis.

May 24-walked 7 miles at a moderate to fast pace. Did abs of steel. Feel very good, high energy all day. Ate well...finally got off 211 and dropped to 210...Oh and...set our wedding date. All in all it was a pretty great day! The big day is August 21, 2004!

Thanks for stopping by my Gym Log! That lower body workout that you liked was taken from something I saw on line at About.com. WOW was it a killer; my legs are still hurting today. I have tried to cut down my time working out to 30 minutes so I am more likely to stick to it.
You really walk far! I don't think I can go more than a mile. How do you do it?

Well. I'm am little emotional.
Wallked 25 miles up a mountian and down and up and down and up and up and up. It took me 8 hours and 20 minutes. I took one 1/2 hour break. I raised $800 for the Look Good Feel Better program.
Next goal:
53 km (32 mile) hike around Lake Cowachin on September 20. Want to do it alone, or if with someone, with the understanding that we walk at our own pace and seperate if necessary.
Body felt really good but lungs really sore from dust (gravel logging road) and extreme heat . Trying to be positive about it even tho I didn't complete the 40 mile finish line.
I need to think positive thoughts....side note to self...self defeating thoughts when exhausted contributed to giving up. Need to train my mind to think positive no matter what.

This last week I didn't do too much. Found a great workout in the mall parking lot across the street from my school. There is no traffic on the second level and there are several sets of stairs. Also, have been doing lots of cruches and tried yoga one morning this week...I was sore after!
