Default Chicken Curry Receipe

My son is a chef and devised this receipe for me...it's absolutely awsome, but be careful if you don't like hot food.

2 x chicken breasts (cubed)
1 tsp tumeric
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cardamon
1 tsp lemongrass & chilli powder
1/2 tsp corriander
1 tsp hot chilli powder
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 onion, finely diced
1/2 zucchini, finely sliced
1/c cup green string beans
1 tomato, finely chopped
5 tablespoons cream
1dsp olive oil

Dice chicken
Dry roast spices and tip into bowl
Seal off chicken and remove from pan
Saute veges
Add chicken and spices back to pan
Simmer 3 minutes
Add cream
...heat gently ... and ... enjoy, enjoy, enjoy

Default i make a mean curry

here's a superfast recipe with my secret ingredient

i like beef, especially loin steaks stripped

one or two beef loin steaks stripped

half a sweet onion, either chopped or sliced howerver you like it

a few teaspoons of curry powder that doesn't have salt added (curry pastes or blocks usually have wheat and other carb laden things in them)

here's my secret: half an ounce of unsweetened baker's chocolate
and a couple teaspoons of sugar substitute to make it sweet

unsalted, roasted peanuts

two dashes of tapatio if you're nasty

any vegetables you might like

if you like your onions to melt throw them in first and sautee them in oil. if you like them large and tasty, sautee the meat first and then add your onion (and any other veggies you might like) after the meat has browned a bit. then add your curry powder with about half a cup of water and the tapatio if you like it hot. get the liquid in the pan heated and add the chocolate, melting it as you mix everything. add your sweetener substitue (if you like that) while your mixing. add the peanuts to the mix or sprinkle them on top after you plate it.

i know curry poder is cheating but if you find a good one it makes cooking it so much easier and quicker.

this is spicy, sweet, thick and dark and oh so damn good.

a curry a day...

I've made pretty much the same recipe, but I add cauliflower and have added cubed daikon (chinese radish-also called lo bok). I use curry powder instead of all the separate spices. It's pretty low fat, so I add clarified butter to the mix.

pork works well in place of the chicken, for a change of pace.

Oh, I also make a creamy sauce to have on the side-equal parts mayo and cream with 1 tsp lemon juice and grated cucumber.
