Default Oriental Patties

Didn't know where to post this one, cause I use them for breakfast, lunch, supper, snack and they sure are fast if you make them ahead......

1 - 1 1/2 lbs ground chicken or turkey
1 egg slightly beaten
1 green onion minced fine
1/4 tsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. soya sauce
1/2 tsp minced garlic ( i use the stuff in the jar in olive oil)
black pepper to taste

Mix together all ingredients except the ground meat. Add meat and mix well. The mixture is rather sloppy and hard to work with, but form into 4 patties as best you can.
Heat olive oil in pan and put patties in hot pan. Brown on both sides. Be careful to not move them until they are browned. When browned both sides turn down heat to med. low, and loosely cover with pot lid, turning once in a while till done.

These freeze great and are even good cold. Slice them in half lengthwise and put mayo and cheese in the middle!

If I have them for supper, I pour sauteed mushrooms and zucchini over top....yum!

These sound good - I think I'm going to give them a try. I think I might add some ground up pork rinds to the mix - make it a little less "gloppy" and easier to work with!!
