Talking All you ever needed to know about LC in one simple "pome."

Hello to all newbies!
Yes, you're welcome here!
Doing Doctor Atkins?
Then read the book, my dear!

Prefer another eating plan?
If LC, all work well.
Just get that information
And everything will gel.

Want to try and wing it?
Please don't even try
You need the information
So find the book, then buy.

Feeling somewhat dizzy?
Potassium you need.
Feeling awfully hungry?
Well, have yourself a feed.

Don't try to do it low cal
You'll slow the weight loss down
And also - you'll lose muscle.
And won't that make you frown!

Having painful leg cramps?
That hurts, I know it does.
You may need calcium tablets
With magnesium becuz...

...They work the best together -
Cal Mag as two to one
One thousand and five hundred
You'll need. It can be done!

Poo is seeming different?
Either hard or loose?
Try some psyllium powder
And don't be such a goose!

Wee is also different?
Gone a funny yellow?
It's only the B vitamins
No need to roar and bellow!

Coming out in bruises?
Gums are sore and bleeding?
Yep - it's supplements again.
It's Vitamin C you're needing.

Craving lots of sweet stuff?
Then keep Induction "clean."
Avoid the "false and funny" foods
And try L-Glutamine.

And don't forget to exercise
At home or in the gym.
You'll burn that fat much faster then
And soon be looking slim.

Great Job, Rosebud. You've covered it all but the water! Maybe the next poem could be about drinking.

Ode to the Whoosh Fairy

Now I lay me down to sleep...
A cup of splenda at my feet...
I'll be good and drink my water --
Leave the grapejuice for my daughter..
I promise to eat all my eggs..
Now take those bulges from my legs..
I'll eat my pork -- I'll eat a steer..
Just takes these bumps from my rear..
I'll never even look at jelly..
Please take the blub out of my belly..
These lips will never touch a sweet
Oh, if only... I could see my feet..
So, please tonight before I wake..
A few more pounds Whoosh Fairy Take

Hello from Zurich

Hi Swissmom, yes I've seen the very charming Ode to the Whoosh Fairy on several other bulletin boards.

I believe it originated on ASDLC and was written by Ms Chris G (just to give credit where it's due).

You'll find it and more LC ditties here:

Smile Hi Rosebud

Thank you - I thought this was so nice I wanted to share it with this forum - and of course thanks to Ms Chris - I found it on the whoosh friends homepage! (I love their name!)
See ya around
