I hadn't posted as I forget sometimes to check in her for messages.

I haven't seen anything from Christian for awhile. He hasn't posted anything in awhile. I hope he's doing OK. He may just be away on holidays.

Island Girl, the dates that you are in town include the Saturday and the Sunday. Any chance of getting together during daytime hours on those days? I don't know if others can make it on those days, but I don't think I should have a problem going.

I might be able to make it if it was on the weekend. Depends on time and place. The weekdays are too hard for me to get into T.O.

Sunday would be ideal for me. I drop dd off to see her father and then I'm usually free for the rest of the day.

So far I've only got a response from Island Girl, Vbrown, and Chriscub (thanks for the email Chris).

If we do it in the evening, Island Girl cant make it, and if we do it in the afternoon I wont be able to make it. OMG I honestly think us all getting together is the hardest part of this WOE.

My thoughts are to try again, lets say Starbucks at Yonge and Eglinton October 3rd 8ish?

(there is a starbucks on eglington, just a block east of Yonge, on the south side of the street - across the street from HOOTERS ) there is a small area in the back that we could pull a few tables together and not disturb the rest of the place.

let me know about tomorrow, if not, I'll assume we'll try again on the 3rd.

Are weekends totally out then? I just can't make a weekday.

I'm cool for a weekend - my gym is just up the street so I'm usually at that starbucks on Saturdays anyway

I can VERY likely do early-ish on the weekend, the Saturday would be best, say about 11 ?

Now if I only knew which Starbucks.... I'm flexible as long as it's near the subway line and I'm told the address (I have a map, of course )

I could do Sat around 11 (as long as you don't mind my 3 year old tagging along!)

Somewhere there is free parking would be ideal. However, riding the subway with dd could also be a new adventure!

Don't worry dissolved, we'll have more I'm sure. I'd love to have a regular ongoing thing happening for us to meet. A certain time and place, maybe every two weeks or something.
People can just show up if they want. No pressure.

Well, Chris and I showed up. Chris was there around 11, left after 5 min to check out the other Starbucks on Yonge, then got back after 11:15 when I arrived. (Had to take the munchkin for a potty break on the subway line).

Christian never made it and Judy didn't either.

We had a nice chat and decided that definately more get togethers are in order.

Sundays are best for me because of my dd. She's only three so can get quite distracting. Chris was a trooper and put up very well with her!

Hopefully next time there will be more of us!

My apologies, especially to those who went looking!

I got stuck for time between the in-laws and the trade show and had to run for the Union stop... I DID wave at the stop as the TTC carried me by! I felt terrible.

I hope I can come into town another time, and maybe have more time...
