So a 2000kcal diet, 800kcal in carb or less is low carb. That is 200 gram or less carb.
In 20gram carb diet, 20*4/2000=4%
That is 4% vs 40% different definition of low carb diet.
They also collect data starting from year 1980+(high '80).
I believe low carb diet was getting popular after 2005+.
How do they get thousands of thousand low carb people in '80?
It turn out 40% carb is not low carb diet. It is lower carb high carb diet.
