Default News article on media reports on nutrition research

I thought this a balanced review of how the media handle nutrition research. The article explains the difference between causality and association, references the conflicting articles saying this or that will kill you. At last a voice of reason in the media

It's a good explanation. And it's not just clickbait headlines for what passes as "news." It's also a deliberate tactic.

The processed food industry is highly endangered by an Atkins-type diet. They don't care if they kill their customers. A long-lived ketogenic person isn't making them any money.

It was once Big Tobacco. Now it's Big Food and Big Pharma. And guess what Big Tobacco moved into? Yep: one of them bought Nabisco.

I'm very pleased that I'm not contributing to the processed food industry revenues. To them, I'm merely a droplet of dew on the morning grass. Hardly significant to their business, but growing numbers of like minded over time have the power to force changes.
