Smile Week 1

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping I found a forum that will help me when needed. I started following a low carb plan on Monday, 5/14/18 and so far it's been pretty easy! I'm so surprised because I'm a junk food addict! But I also love meat, veggies, and cheese so that's keeping me pretty happy right now. I really haven't felt hungry. But I'm trying to lose some significant weight in the next 60 days due to an important event coming up July 14. I hope this will be a good place to find the moral support I need. Thank you!

You found a great place for support, information, and accountability. It worked for me. Stay active here. Read up about the benefits of this WOE. Find the motivation to stick with it. 60 days is not a lot of time, but you can make a god dent in your goal by then. Welcome. I wish you the best as you get started.

Welcome to the forum, Ginarose.

Having an event date to work towards is something that I personally found helpful too (in my case, an overseas trip). Another couple I know are currently working towards a holiday in a week or two, at which they're aiming to be at or near their halfway point. I hope it works out well for you too. Good luck!
