day 22!! Who would have thunk it! fasting and no snacking, only did about 900 calories yesterday 78% from fat 19 g carbs. feel awesome today going to try 24 hr fast

Goal of this challenge: Simply to tally how well I do sticking to my diet plan over the next 90 days.

Good days: 8
So-so eating: 2
Off the mark: 1

Late snacks: 3

Yesterday: Good day. 35 net carbs, higher on the calories (on purpose), and a last good workout before Saturday's 10K. So far, so good with this challenge. I'm liking my current WOE and this challenge format works as a nice gauge to measure how things are going. I like it much better than restarting with every screw-up.

goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s.

50 min spent editing, and writing for project 1. I am starting to look forward to these sessions.

Habits: Eating on plan (under 20 carbs) & no eating after 5pm

Day 4/90

On Plan: 3

Off plan: 1

Eating after 5pm: 1

Had 1 night of eating past 5 due to poor planning and late sporting events and trying to kids to where they need to be. I did eat late but it was on plan
Happy to be stringing these low carb days together. Happy that the scale is again moving in the right direction!

no misses


1. No computer use between the hours of 9AM and 5PM except for my Buddhist teachings and tracking food on Cronometer.

2. No computer use in the morning until after I meditate.

3. No computer use after 10PM

4. At least 1 hour of study per day (added on day 5)

Yesterday would have been a great day had it not been for the late evening pork rinds snack. I ate 33 net carbs with plenty of protein and fat. I ate well yesterday, but not too much. I'm calling it another good day. Today I will be upping the fats and keeping the carbs lower than my plan calls for. Breakfast in the morning will be BP coffee + my normal fiber supplement. After that I'll be off to run my 3rd Richmond 10K.
