Maybe all payers and good vibes have an effect... we got some good news today. After all the reports, (2 MRI's, biopsy's, etc's) it turns out my wife's cancer appears to be of the non-aggressive variety and her surgeon says she will not be doing a mastectomy but rather a lumpectomy, (which they don't call a lumpectomy anymore, they call it a partial-mastectomy... ) but what ever they call it it means my wife will not be needing a plastic surgeon, at lest not right away... so we're taking that as "good news".

Thanks again all for your support and prayers.

Great Bill! And now she has some great ideas for quality of life! Not that lumpectomy isn't daunting as well when its you and yours. Wishing her all the best.

Just an update for those who have been following along. My wife had her surgery Tuesday and then Friday we got the final biopsy report and since the margins were clean the surgeon called and confirmed that my wife should not be needing any more surgeries any time soon.

Now she just needs a couple weeks to heal before we go see the oncologist. Hopefully it will be just radiation and not chemo.

Thanks again all for your care and concern.
