It's so funny that this topic came up....
My resting heartrate has been pretty low for years due to working out quite a bit... It would stay under 50... usually around 48(taken first thing in the am before getting out of bed). It had been a while since I had checked it, and I hadn't checked it at all since starting LC in January. So, the other morning I remembered to check it before I got out of bed and it was 55. I checked it again just to be sure! I have started taking Hydroxycut, though, so I wonder if it is because of that. I only take 2 a day and I never take any in the afternoon or evening and I don't take it at all on the weekends. I've also increased my workout with weights. I am assuming the change is from the Hydroxycut since it has caffeine. I am going to try to remember to take it again Monday morning when I have been off of it for 2 days and see if it is any different.
Try taking yours first thing before you get out of bed.... You'll need a clock or something to time yourself with for one minute. Find your heart beat... I do mine on my neck since that is where it is usually the easiest to feel, but you can also use your wrist. Time it for 1 minute and you'll have your resting heart rate.
