THIS GROUP follows ULTRA LOW CARB PLANS...of different types that stem from the teachings of DR ATKINS. We have TOTAL carbs and net carbs, and the Carb Nite has its roots in ATKINS as does every low carb plan. Although there are differences, this TEAM has already learned control and the importance of planning and tracking and weighing daily. We cannot live with out heads buried in the sand and with monitoring what we eat we can learn what works for us and when we need changes. COME JOIN US!

My scale is doing wonky things again. It is NOT wet. I woke at 2:30 am again to feed the cats and pee, weighed myself and it said 206. I WAS able to get back to sleep this time for another couple hours! When I woke, I was able to poop a bit and pee again - stepped on the scale expecting to see at least 205.8, but it read 206.4! WTF? Not only that, but I stepped on it again and it ran the ranges from 207 - 205, then stopped again on 206. So I am thoroughly confused and uncertain of my actual weight.

Today I will have to get a new battery and plop it in. I hope that will correct this problem. I distrust my scale. When I get to the Dr., they will weigh me, fully clothed and with breakfast and lunch within me. I am curious to see what their scale says...

SIGH!

Other than that, I see we all seemed to have a good day yesterday!

HIMI - It's terrible about the school threat! Glad to hear it was just a prank! And we are having snow again too. Typical March. Snowy at the beginning. But by this weekend it will be in the high 50's! have fun in Chicago - I hope it is not snowing when you travel.

Today is a busy day for me. I have a brochure I must complete this morning, then I have my Dr. appt out of town this afternoon. So I won't be able to get back here until tonight. I need to bake my muffins this morning, too. (today is my CN). So I have to get started now.

HIMI.. sorry I zoned out on the post.. that is just insane about the threats at school. SICK.... when I went to my friend in S FLA, she got a call from another friend who told her that her nephew age 9 was in school and a group was gatered around another boy.. busy showing off a revolver with one bullet loaded and another in his book bag! now for the amazing.. the bell rang and group wen to the class rooms!! So the nephew looked around in surprise that no one saiad a thing and got a teacher!! DUMB kid and taken his brothers gun ( of course his bro had no right to have a hand gun)!
It is a sick and tragic world where parents have no involvement withthe kids. It is not about gun control.It is about PARENT and adult control!

PAULETTE>> same scale stupidity has happened. I have weigh in and gone back to bed only to accumulate water! That is why I try to wait until I am up and about a few hours before weigh in. I am a sponge over night and cannot make a fist in the first waking hours!STILL cannot!

No change for me.. stable mable but I feel thinner..cleaned and UNWORN jeans zipped easily and are bigger on my. SO NSV in place
JODI whooshed finally. She will stay on this plan having a lot more tea and fluids and less solids for snacks!!! That did it for her. SHE LIKES to eat and breaking her pattern for solid foods like lots of pork rinds and mayo will help her. She will not do carb Nite for a while.She has a show on the 19th and the night before there is always an exhibitors' part hosed by the property, show manager..lots of Pizza and things..Jodi will wait for that and go off for those foods. THEN back to square one on CN days she may have to do this type of schedule to fit into hers. Usually shows once a month is all.. maybe twice max.

OMG!!!! I am ending all corresondence and activity with teh CN FB blog. I have not seen such ass wipes in a very long time.. well.. aybe not THAT long all that is given is a narrow book quoting uneducated in anything else reguritation fo the book and osme very concret closed mned vomitting of previous quotes in the book. We have learned right here that there is more than to any plan that the exact words... last one was about one person not being hungry..OK.. that we all Know is a normal side effect to being in KETOSIS.. OMG using keto stix is an indicator not the end all and I was beheaded for using them!! REALLY??? by a chick with zero brains of her own. All she ever did was repeat and attack. No need for me to give tutorials with every post there. HAVE to find out how to block that group.~#$%^&*()_ and up until that moment ai was enjoying this day ... so I will maintain the open mindedness to live and let live...Even when in practice and in education, I never pronounced an author's opinion or findings as 100% gospel. CRICKY - I never use FB so I will not even go there to see what you mean. I am happy with the thread we have and my book and my CNS friends here.

Home from the restaurant now. I bet I didn't even have 1/4 of the fajitas, but I ate my rice and beans. Tomorrow I will have a nice lunch of chicken with green pepper & onion to get back on the normal LC path. Totally full now but I am sure I will be able to have a couple cookies or something before bed to end this night.

Checkup was great. Doc gave me a new tube of antibiotic cream for my navel incision which is still sore, but everything else was A-OK. She said I still shouldn't lift anything for a couple weeks. I lifted a dining room chair today. Ooops.

I hope everyone is having a good day. I will check back later to find out.

PAULETTIEPUSS~~~ A CHAIR>>>>>???? OY.. look in a few eeks do not try the TABLE! It is so tempting to do what you THINK you are capable of doing. It takes 6 months to heal the abdominbal muscles..when your doc says LIFT>>> it is light stuff LOL.. she does not know you ROFL BE careful ok?? only one of y ou. The hernia repairs do not last.. I had 3 thanks to being stupid!
Great on the food Very light for certain and you are still happy.. and of course you KNOW when you spike You could happily have a protein shake too with HC
I thought I would learn something from that site. It was all the CN gurus.. well. full of SH*T was all. I did find a couple of good people there abd had some good info and some very good info..not worth it...BP is back to normal now LOL... I too am fully happy here as well. I am certain that with this new nucleus of CNers we can figure this out easily. I will continue on the research.. cannot get the pod casts but so what. It is not as difficult as Atkins!.

Jodi lost more weight on her rewiegh. so I am changing it.. to 151.8. She reweighed at her normal time and it did make a difference. ALL is happy on the CN front
OH.. This pair of jeans also slide off with a little help.. better than sucking in my gut with mushroom top as I had a few weeks ago!!! THIS plan rocks.

Uh oh playing on the high calorie tetter totter! I haven't eaten off plan but I did eat lots of calories yesterday. An early dinner at black angus--huge steak, green beans and broccoli amazingly delicious...but then a 4 AM late night snack at Village Inn of 2 scambled eggs & 4 sausage patties was possibly not the best idea sodium wise especially....hopefully some fat will leave when the water balloon springs a leak....

Jodi whoo hoo on finally getting your big whoosh! I think it's great that you will be able to have your cn nights around your shows. That's a good plan for sure.

Cricket wow on the jeans! That beats a scale victory any day! Good luck to Carl on getting caught up with all the pressing chores so he can get to making Bonnie Bunny's play pen.

Himi I hope you're having good travelling weather....happy trails to you..*hugs* to you and your sister...Glad the school issue turned out to only be a prank.
