Hi Everyone,
Didn't get on yesterday, DNW, Did not take BS...soooo sick. Bad cold rebounded on me big time. Hubby is still sick, but worked anyway for half a day. We both just stayed in bed for the most part, coughing and snotting (sorry TMI). We both drugged up, slept a lot, and this morning we are a lil better. So far man-child has managed not to catch it, but he has stayed away by working, or just going in his room. Down .2 yesterday, from Monday, and so far the experiment in dropping the expensive med Victoza is working. BS 90, praying it stays that low. As soon as I feel like it, nuking this place with Lysol...got to get rid of this stuff.
Himi: So sorry you were up, but I'm sure that it's just water, and you will be back down again soon.
Cricket: Yeah, no offense taken about my mom. She is literally...nuts (paranoid schizophrenic), not really pc, but easy to understand. My brother, will barely speak to her, my sister won't speak to her at all (she lives in Idaho, so no visiting either). However, even though she beat me almost to death (at 14), and took a shot at me when I was 12 (due to "the voices" telling her to do it), I still at least try to talk to her. I know she is ill, but I can't have her legally committed, unless she tries to harm herself or someone else. Believe me, I have tried.
So as far as listening to her, on most anything, I don't. She is the one who introduced me to Atkins though, and many things she had us take as kids, of course excluding the raw liver, have turned into "Miracle" finds now. She is very, very intelligent, but I have to carefully filter what she tells me. That's the reason I told Paulette if she tries the Dandelion Tea, let me know if it really helps...because Mom has preached about its wonders forever.
Anyway, sorry about your shoulder, glad it's at least more flexible and congrats on the big whooshie.
Kathy: Yay on the mini slide for both of us. Hope it keeps up for both of us.
You are doing great so far this week.
Chrissie: Glad you are down, every lil bit counts.
Paulette: Glad Ed's procedure went well, but so sorry you are up again. But at least today you showed a loss.
I can't wait until you get your medical taken care of...I truly think that once it is gone, your weight loss is going to be absolutely wonderful! Hope your birthday was wonderful! I'm glad you will be having the D & C, and I pray there is no cancer! Hope you feel better!
Barb: I am so sorry for the loss and injury to your friends!! That is horrible. I pray that your injured friend recovers completely!
Himi: You showed a loss today. That's great!
In happier news, you are doing great on your weight loss!
