There goes my losses. Up by 2 lbs today! It is so frustrating.

I went all the way to the hospital yesterday and when I was checking in they told me the doctor CALLED IN SICK. They said they called me but I never got a message or a missed call. Never heard of a doctor calling in sick before. Just my luck to have the only doctor who calls in sick! So I rescheduled it for Dec. 2nd. I hope she does not have some bad disease....

Ed did not get a deer yet. He will continue to go out every day and I hope he can get one. Maybe today!

CRICKET - I, too, would gladly take your "cold" days! We are averaging in the 30's these days with teens at night, but it will be in the 40's for the next couple days at least! Jeez, if it were in the low 70's here I would still be in my POOL! By the way, I WAS trying to figure out what kind of "large 4 legged beastie is fashionable winter wear" you were referring to - one that is big enough to knock down fences...A BEAR????? Then I realized you actually meant "large 4 legged beastie IN fashionable winter wear"!!!! Your typo had me confused!!! Happy to hear you were able to round up the horse in the turquoise blanket!!!!!!

HIMI - wow! Whoosh away to nothing! Congrats on entering the 80's! I sincerely hope you can continue losing so effortlessly! I wish I was YOU.

BARB - Congrats for being back in the 70's!!! I hope it sticks for you, too!!! May you fly beyond it!!!

CHRISSIE - I hope your heavy heart is feeling a little better today. Was Misty your only kitty? Are you going to find another to fill the empty hole she left? I always found room for another little soul in my life when one of my babies passed. My heart needed that so. I hope you are not grieving too profoundly.

KATHY - I'm so happy to hear you will now be off until Thanksgiving! And although you will be working all day on Thanksgiving, at least you will be celebrating the day before! Have fun and relax!

I am officially sick of chuck roast and will NOT be eating any more of it today. Good thing there is not much left. I will have to throw it in the freezer if Ed does not eat any today. Today I will have my loving tuna and who knows what for dinner... I may have a nice fillet of Cod. I do have a lemon slice left and plenty of mayo! Fish sounds light and tasty. Not heavy and brown like beef.

May you all have a great day with LOSSES! See you all a little later!

Hi Cricky Yes, I weighed in very early because the Hungry Hippos woke me up at 3:14 am! And I had to pee badly, so I got up, fed them and peed. But then I always make the coffee and have about 3 cups of it, so that simply raises the weight further. No, my weight does not go down during the day, but only up.

I stayed up this morning as Ed was also up and about, getting ready to go out to the cabin and hunt. I will be taking a nap later this morning I am sure. Right now I am very hungry! Stomach growling! So I think I will make some eggs then see if I can get back to sleep.

I normally don't get hungry this early, but I am going to eat breakfast. Now.

No change for me, but I'm still in the next decade, so that's okay!

Cricket: My post to Chrissie was confusing. The "loss" I was referring to was the fact that we both lost 0.4 lbs starting out this week. However, I mentioned it right after I was talking about losing her furry friend, so I can see how it would be confusing!

Paulette: I'm sure the gain is from the early weigh in! So frustrating about your wasted trip yesterday to the doctor. Hopefully it wasn't extremely far away. I'm sure you're ready to get a plan in place to start feeling better.

I'll check back in later tonight.

Good Morning team mates PAULETTIE~~ you make me laugh.. IF you did ot have anything fow a few hours after getting up, I BET there would be loss..certainly not while drinking LOL! Get some rest. When the cats are inside they are in another room ( my large closet or bathroom) No way will I deal with that! Bad enough with the pooches and if too early, they get the old " quiet and go to sleep! " most times I get up anyway for something!
It is beautiful today. Clear and crisp. Friends, you all can have this weather.. just move here This is to cold for me.
Grandson is home from University for TG holiday. Was lucky that another band member lives not far and dropped him off not far from home.It is about 6 hour drive I think though ..

I am certain my weight is less than yesterday since my ring is loose..really loose but no weigh in for me. Woke up with head ache so I had fluids and was thirst early so drank more and gave up and had bacon and hot beverage. I will try to weigh in tomorrow.Have an afternoon surgeon deal so woll get out early and shop before I go. Not too worried about anything not getting n fridge! I really do want to see me get close to 150 this week and I HOPE I DO!

Making pumpkin pie and I may have a taste and no cust..it is the premade stuff and not mine anyway.. doing that cream gravy of Pollie's. I bought some strawberries to have with the WF choc dipping sauce for dessert. SMUCKERS makes SF preserves..has carbs and that is fine.they are natural carbs..I usually use orange marmalade over the top of the turkey skin.. really tastey so now I can do that with the no sugar added stuff. That will be a good meal for me! OH.. and the yam! If the gravy is really good, I will omit the yam and have more turkey The closer I got to turkey day the less i wanted to have! Weight loss is leading this battle
In searching back in the calander, it was April that I weighed 129.5 and then the battle began ups and downs and Sept shows the results of all the health issues and medications taking their toll. Weight bounded up. It is interesting to see trends and compare with what is happening in life. WHo ever said that Sometimes Life gets in the way was brilliant!

Hello!!! I am happy to say that Ed got a doe! We brought her into the butcher and are having the whole thing ground into doe-burger! Except for the backstraps, that is. We save those for stirfry stuff.

I bought a new flavor of Mio - Mixed Berry Pomegranate - and it is super delicious! I have slammed 2 of my 3-cup sippy mugs of it already, and now I am having more coffee - so I will no doubt be peeing up a storm very shortly. I have a feeling I may be switching over to my new Mio flavor from now on, or until I get sick of it. The Tang is being put back on the shelf for a while.

LOL, Cricket! When I get up in the morning, the first thing I always do is make the coffee. It is like an addiction because it is so delicious and satisfying, whether regular or decaf. I couldn't think of going hours without it! I DO go to bed extra early - around 7pm - and always wake up so early, but normally around 4 or 5. I only got up so darned early this morning because I had to pee so bad. I can usually ignore the monsters for an hour or so, but if I actually get UP - then I stay up. And I HAD to get up to pee!!!!

I did not go back to bed this morning, so I will most likely be in bed extra early tonight. I love to sleep and I will get plenty tonight. With the deer and everything today, I just never got the chance.

As I have no work to do (and I do not plan on working again until Dec 3rd) I am just sitting around watching TV, doing some online shopping, and generally relaxing for the rest of the day. No more running around for today. My Holiday Season has begun and I am going to enjoy the next few weeks. I even told my clients that I will not be able to work until the 3rd (after my birthday and my Dr. appt.) so that I can have a long week of nothing! I will work after that, until Christmas, but as December is my off-month, I don't expect an awful lot of projects, and most clients don't do much around the holidays anyway. I plan on doing some casual research about low carb eating to keep my motivation up, but I swear I have read everything that is out there already. Who knows? Maybe I can lose a lb or 2 over these holidays!!!

I hope you all are having a great day.

WILL boil the hell out of the drippings and then add cream and season more as it goes...GREAT on the DOE!!
It was a hungry day here..munchie day. I found a steak in the freexer.. took only 4 bites and away it went. I used to LOVE steak. Had 1/4 C cottage cheese, 2 fried eggs in coconut spray, 2 slices ( one portion ) bacon and tea w/HC and wf choc w/ hc. 3 cashews) pieces from the mixed nut can)..more than usual and still not much. That is fine for me for the day.
ARM IS BETTER BY A LOT! I've been doing the forced movement of taking the bad arn by the good one and hauing it over my head and around while in bed, and duriong the day have done a few stretches. Only a few and to the extent that the therapist made me do.Ther is discomfort and stiffness and that is workable, but I still want to know if the injection will help me work my arm more realistically. I can imagine it would hurt like a BIT*H..I had it before for bursitis..not horrid, but this is different so who knows. He may say keep doing what I am. POLLIE.. how do you ever sleep from 7PM!! I am too addictied to my shows to miss them, and Carl is first getting dinner at 9PM! We are later to bed here. Will sleep well tonight since it eluded me last night.

Hi YA CHRISSIE
HEY BARB, HIMI have a great evening!

Unhappy more info on misty.....

thank you all so much for all your kind words regarding my furry little angel.

PAULETTE......no, misty was not my only baby. i actually have 2 more inside cats (dru & ella), 2 dogs (max & millie), and 2 outside cats (tommy & maggie).
we do not plan on adopting anyone else as of right now.

here is what happened:
i noticed over the last 3 days or so (before she died), she was getting very very bad.....not eating, not walking right.
when i kept checking on her sat nite/sun morning, she looked horrible and wasn't moving out of the same spot.
when i came home from church, i brought her downstairs, wrapped her in a blanket & kept her in her favorite place (my lap) while we watched a movie......she died within an hour of me doing that.
misty was about 17 yrs old, and we had her for a little over 11 years.....

Good afternoon ladies!

Paulette yeah for Ed getting the doe! Doe burgers for everyone (except me I can't eat Bambi's relatives) enjoy!

Barb I hope you got your extra work done today. Our administrative staff at the hospital and healthplan all get Thursday and Friday off. They actually have to use their pto if they want to get paid for Friday. It kinda sucks to be forced to use your paid time off but I would imagine I would save my pto all year (after 5 yrs of service we earn 10.71 hrs of pto Per Payday) and enjoy my 5 days off. I hope you get a 5 day weekend off as well. After all that extra work just chillax with Chrissie in Mable

Chrissie poor little Misty but i'm sure you gave her a wonderful life these past 11 years. You can have another day in Mable to ride around and think happy thoughts about dearly departed Misty and keep Himi company but then you both need to get out and head to the slide.

Cricket so glad Carl was able to round up the kitties and horsey last night. I'm glad you are getting some relief with that shoulder. I need to go find my pt bands they gave me last year when the right shoulder froze. I've been doing like you and using the right arm to exercise the left but I can still feel the progressing "freezing" but hopefully it won't be as bad this time. I give you kudos on getting the shot. I just can't do it. It's torture getting the flu shot every year...that about maxes out my needle tolerance right there. I hope you're getting some sleep my dear friend. Thank you for your kind words last night I appreciate it....with PMS I started crying when I read it

Himi I hope you're still on the slide today

Have a nice night

Another little bounce-- ho hum.

Yay on the doe Paulette! Do you have them add beef fat to your ground venison? I remember we took the butcher's recommendation to do that, as it was so ultra lean it cooked better/tasted better with some added fat.

So glad that your shoulder is progressing Cricket-- hope you can keep on resting/stretching and seeing improvement.

So sorry about your kitty Chrissie. We have lost two elderly kitties over the past few years-- one was 23 who we had since he was 15, the other was 20 and had been with us since she was 1. They leave an empty spot for sure when they leave, but its sure nice to know they lived long happy lives with us.

Kathy I hope you enjoy your time off!

Barb hooray for stayin' in the 70's! (cue Bee Gees music)

CHRISSIE~~ Misty. like most humans, waited for the one most important to come and see her before she passed.Animals and people Do , do that. Jodi's beloved Merryl had mamory cancer and was bad off but still eating etc.One day shwe went missing for a week but returned to say goodbye. Jodi did the only thing that was humane and brought her to the vet to let her misery end.
RIght now, Jodi is sitting in the field in the dark with Dolly ber mare who has colliced. She never collics and Jodi found her lying down so we pray she did not twist her gut. Only time will tell. I had to put down an amazing Arabian mare.. daughter of world Chmpion who rolled and twisted her gut. It is a real scarry thing to us with that in our minds. Hope she gts better soon.

I had a nice long post I was just finishing and Bob came in to go to bed. I picked up the laptop to move out into the living room and lost it all! I was literally on the last line! I'll update the Chart and post tomorrow.
