Default Migraines More Likely for People With Gluten Problems

I know so many people that lost the migraines when they went gluten free. It's worth a shot if you get migraines. Ugh... hated those.

Just think of what would happen if these folks went grain-free instead of just wheat-free.

On Dr. Davies' WheatBellyBlog there is an astonishing range of conditions people find improving once they go wheat free and low carb in general.

Joint pain, depression, chemical sensitivities, TMJ, poor sleep; the list goes on and on.

It's pretty amazing.

Amazing what happens when the gut doesn't leak to let in various toxins.

Keep in mind this is an observational study so it can't tell us what's the cause or effect. Tomorrow we might find another one that says grains and gluten are the brain's superfood. It might even be that those who are more prone to migraines and headaches tend to eat more grains for some reason, which then makes them more likely to develop celiac's. Or it could be some completely counterintuitive third factor that links all of the above together. On the other hand, I prefer to believe that the causality sequence starts with grains, breaks the gut, and then breaks the brain.
