Default Should anyone eat wheat?

Interview W/ Dr. Alessio Fasano, Part 1: Should Anyone Eat Gluten?

An interview with Dr. Fasano, a celiac disease researcher. Good stuff!

The link to Dr. Fasano's study on Gluten is messed up in the article.

Well damn, now I want to go on and read part two. I especially liked:

Yes. No one can properly digest gluten. We do not have the enzymes to break it down. It all depends upon how well our intestinal walls close after we ingest it and how our immune system reacts to it.

I think Dr. Fasano has changed his tune since he's started studying this. He used to kind of pooh-pooh gluten intolerance.

I hope that in parts 2 and 3 they discuss the symptoms of gluten intolerance.

I have to say it again: I had migraines for 34 years. When I stopped eating gluten they just went away.
