Well, if you are at goal weight, considering the excess skin, then is it time for some sort of maintenance plan for you? I would think that it's all about finding what works for your body, lifestyle, all that. Your body may be telling you that 'losing time' is over for now.

I think what i will do is to stay on the loss stage just now until i have had the operation - that way once i am out of surgery and see what weight i am i can do either maintain or bulk up with some muscle

maybe good idea?

This morning (each Wednesday) is my official weigh-in day. I read this thread about a week ago, and my results are that I lost 4.5 lb. this week with increased fats. Whee!!

congrats - how much have you to go all in?

When i was at the Dr he said i prob have slowed down because i have not alot of fat to go and the extra weight is skin . which i am getting removed . then i went down to 14 St 8 Lbs as of yesterday lol this is on higher fats too

love it and love the original poster for reminding us of the basics that sometimes we over look

I delved into the Kawasaki (I can't remember the name of that doctor who said to eat 1P:2.5F:.8C) info and have been really upping my fats.

I eat a lot less! The fat triggers the 'Full' button for me. So I have naturally dropped my protein, and naturally stay within my calorie ranges.

And I am losing .5 lbs every day. I have not seen the scale move that like in years.

Thanks everyone. I have been struggling with this for 1.5 years, and you all have been very patient with my questions. I really appreciate your time and effort to explain things to me.

Janet

lost another 3/4 of a pound today - but that was not full weigh in . will do one tomorrow - thats the week up since last done it

Janet

well done . as i am near my target weight i stopped veggies because my weight loss slowed down but have to remember i am my ideal weight. so started the veggies up the other day - still low carb. still get most my cals from fat then protein then carbs . as you say you cant eat as much as the fat makes you full quicker.

loving it and i would also like to say thanks to all you guys
