Default low carb shake !!!

So I am almost done with induction. Actually sunday is my last day. I almost lost 5 pounds as of tody....
Today I was making chocolate shake for my husband and son and I really wanted somthing sweet but I did not want to undo what I have done so far. So I decided to make my own shake I used the following:
3 tbsp cream cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp coco powder (unsweetend)
4 ice cubes
2 packets of splenda

I blend all on the blender and it was soooooooo good even better than the regular shake that I usually make with ice cream.

Is that alot of cream cheese and carbs? I think it may be around 7 carbs for the whole thing. may be more? I m not sure... but now I feel really full and satisfied, hope it will not undo my day ... !!!

I'd say it beats the heck out of the amount of carbs in a regular icecream shake/malt!

Wow! I haven't looked up the ingredients to figure the number of carbs, but it sounds wonderful!! You should post that in the kitchen forum part of this website -- I think you just might have a hit!!

For Atkins induction it would be using half your cheese 'allowance' and be using all of the daily cream 'allowance' plus a tablespoon more, but if it does not halt your progress and makes it easier to stick to your chosen way of eating then I say go for it!!

yum!!!!!!!! I have made something similar, adding 1/4 c of eggbeaters as well (to get a little protein).
Congrats on finishing induction.
