If you're inquiring about Dr. Richard K. Bernstein's diabetes diet, yes ... his book is titled Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution: a Complete Guide to Achieving Normal Blood Sugars. This is a low-carb program designed to help Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics lower and control their blood sugars, and to help prevent and even reverse the damage caused by high carbohydrates and high blood sugars. He also has a website, which you can check out here.

If you mean the Dr. Stanley Bernstein ultra-low calorie diet clinic .. no, there is no book. His is a proprietary diet program, accessible only to those who pay the fees to attend. There is a website where you can find out a bit more about the program and where it's available in Canada. Also, here's the link to a recent CBC Marketplace article (April 3, 2002) about the program, with comments and cautions from Health Canada and nutritionists.

hope this is helpful

Actually, I know very little about the plan, as it is a proprietary program where only members who pay a fee to join the private clinic have access to information and details about it. We do not support such programs here.

Please refer to the links in my post above for information.
