Some findings, I found lots of returned emails (bounces) mostly from a dozen or so members, half of which reported the problem in this thread. The bounces are for different reasons, I'll PM some of you who may need to contact their ISP providers to not refuse emails from us Others maybe due to stale data on our DNS cache, so will try a few things, and hopefully you've got mail.

So far it looks like the emails are being rejected and bounced from Comcast, Verizon, RoadRunner and Cox. However, they are no rejecting all emails, only the ones sent to you guys (about 8 members). i.e. other members with Verizon, Cox, Comcast and Road Runner, seem to be getting their notifications.

Just checking, is the email given in your profile spelled correctly? Might be worth it for all those effected to double check the spelling of their email address.

Since we did have a problem earlier last month, effecting all members, and many switched to different emails, the remaining few who have a problem might the ones who mistyped their email addresses when they switched back to their previous email addresses.

Well, I wasn't getting mine on Shaw.ca and when I switched gmail.com I got them again. When you said you thought you had fixed the problem, I switched back to shaw.ca and didn't even get the email for the verification. I also never got any response from the webmaster, which I assume was sent but not received! I'm frankly afraid to switch my email for this site back to shaw.ca again - I don't want to be shut out!! Anyway, the point is, it's not just the providers you mentioned. And I didn't get any notices that email was being bounced, I just didn't get any email.

PS -- and yes, I always double check the spelling of my email address before I hit the "submit" button! I learned that the hard way too ....

I'm on Roadrunner, so I added this site as a "safe site." We'll see if it works.

Nope. Still don't get notifications. Guess I'll just have to log on more frequently and check my Subscribed Threads page.

Thanks for continuing to work on this, and for keeping us informed of your progress toward correcting it. I never changed my email address, so that's not a factor here; my email address has always been the same as when I was getting notifications.

The people speaking up here aren't the only ones who no longer receive notifications; I see others mention it in their journals. (When I owned and operated a small store, the guideline was that for every person who spoke up, 20 others had the same experience.)

OK, based on this post, I'm going to switch back to my original email adress. If I get locked out again.....will you let me back in?

I just checked, and saw that your original email address still isn't receiving lowcarber mail. So,I switched your profile back to yahoo, and resent the activation code to that address. You should be able to log in successfully from there.
