Hi, I'm new here too but it's good to see people from Tennessee here! I'm in Lafayette, a very small town about 45 minutes from Nashville. Everybody knows everybody, which makes it worse when ya gained 40 pounds!! Born & raised here and grew up eating all Momma's good food, she always wants ya to eat more lol. There are a few others on the thread that have taken a bit of a break over the summer it seems but I'm sure things will pick up again soon. They are mostly in the Nashville area, too. I have been exactly where you are...southern mama's always teach you to clean your plate...and then have some more! I also grew up in a small town (near Memphis) and everyone knew and TALKED ABOUT everyone else...and of course, weight was a great gossip topic...still is, I guess. You'll just have them talking about how good you look and how much weight you've lost!
