Default New LC Cookbook out for Candida

A low carber friend from another board I visit occasionally has just published a low carb cookbook that is for all low carbers, but specifically for those who are restricted because of candida.

It's her first book and I'm pretty proud of her! And she's got it on her own website.

Here's a link to read about it. http://www.thelowcarbcook.com/

Wow, I've had this book since I started lcing, but never made the connection to anti-candida limitations before. Extreme Lo-Carb Cuicine by Sharron Long. My library has it, that's how I ended up knowing about it when I first started this WOE.
Actually, I went to the candida forum and went back to the very oldest threads and started reading from there forward. I'm really finding a lot of info and recommend going back to those old threads for others who are just now learning about yeast overgrowth. There's tons of links to other sites, and feedback from those who have found what works for them. --Gail

Gail, glad you've found the "old" information relevant and useful It's unfortunate that many recent discussions seem to be centered around laxative pills and colon cleanses rather than lowcarb nutrition and creative meal planning as a central part of candida treatment.

Doreen, I know you've been thru a lot and I've been trying to read thru your journal to learn what you've learned, but...dh keeps needing the computer, and thinks I'm now living exclusively in our computer room I'll eventually get thru it, if I resist the detours along the way (as fascinating as they are). Thank you for all your work, I guess you can tell by this forum how worth it your efforts have been.--Gail
