Got a good workout in at the gym tonight watching the final results of the election....about 3 miles, 2 min ~ 4 mph/1 min ~ 6 mph - no workouts over the weekend. Tomorrow will be some yoga and possibly go to the gym too.

I'm back - and I'm sticking with my original gym journal title of 30 minutes or more! If I don't feel like going overboard I'll stick with the 30 minutes but in my past experiences, if I can get myself for going for 30 minutes I usually end up wanting to go more. But I pledge not to feel guilty about not doing more than 30 minutes

So, yesterday I did 40 minutes walk (4mph) 2 mins/jog 2 (5 mph) 2 mins - total of 3 miles.

Today - same thing

I already feel much better, I can believe I've been a slacker for so long. I'm excited about how much more convenient it will be for me to get workouts in without the extra travel time to the gym.

40 minutes - walk/jog alternate for 2 minutes each for a total of 3 miles. Ouch...I'm starting to feel the effects of the workouts the last couple days, I CANNOT believe how out of shape I am But....I keep telling myself to take it slow and I will get results, it's motivating for me to know I have a few months before the warmer weather comes to get back into shape to wear cute summer clothes

40 minutes - alternate walk/run - 3 miles.

I'm thinking a little yoga might be good for me after the past few days on the treadmill, I'm feeling a little tight and the toning would definitely be helpful as well. I'll have to put it on my to do list for tomorrow.

I think I may set my journal entries up a little bit different so I can see the that I'm getting ALL my workouts in. I'm pretty visual so I like to be able to see my progress

Got a little more mileage in, just a little over 3 miles because I alternated 2 min walk/3 min jog - it seems to be getting a little easier.

DH and I got a yoga workout in, my Denise Austin "Fat Blasting Yoga" - DH is fairly athletic and I got him into the yoga thing about a year ago. It makes the time go so much faster when we both do it - it is just hilarious to see him struggle to bend down to his toes...definitely not the most flexible guy, but he always gets an A for effort
