Default side effects of splenda??

I know that many members are big users on Splenda over the use of aspartame and such, but I'm curious as to whether some of you experience side effects from splenda??
I had a splenda sweetened nestea yesterday and boy, afterwards I was hit with a huge headache and terrible leg cramps. It could have been that i ate A LOT of nuts with it but I have been through nut binges before and have never experienced headache and leg cramps from it even though I do feel tired and experience weight gain from too much nuts.
I haven't had a diet pop or other diet drinks in about 3 weeks and yesterday was my first time having some. I'm thinking maybe LC-ing magnifies the effects of the splenda that I otherwise wouldn't experience??

Gahh.. it was hell. I've always been okay with splenda, and aspartame too for that matter, prior to LC-ing.

Anybody else experience this??

Splenda made me crazy - shortness of breath, heart palpitations, anxiety attacks, restless leg syndrome. It was NUTS.

I had NO CLUE that it was the splenda - thought it was all the drinkin' I was doing, but then when I got pregnant six years ago and was still having 6 packets of splenda a day and STILL feeling crazy, I cut out the splenda for the rest of my pregnancy and was fine - then resumed once I had the baby and got crazy again super quick.

Haven't touched it since.

I seem to do okay with nutrasweet brand and all, but now I'm just cowgirling up to 2 teaspoons of regular ol' sugar in my coffee and cuttin' carbs somewhere else to make up for it.

I'm the same way with all the sweeteners. I'm having a difficult time finding something that doesn't give me the shakes. I tried honey today and my blood sugar dropped, I just can't handle it on an empty stomach without eating something I guess. I just use it in my coffee in the morning...or hot cocoa at night.
