Here's Cleo's photo tutorial for the Oopsies.

And here's her world famous recipe:

Quote:
Cleochatra's Best Ever Revol-Oopsie Rolls

3 large eggs
1 pkg Splenda
dash of salt
pinch of cream of tartar
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly.

Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool.

Storage and freezing:

I store them in a zip lock bag with the bag open partially (this way they breathe and don't go over moist and keep them in the fridge after the first day. Then, when you want to use them, take them out and set them on the counter for 15-30 minutes or until they are room temperature. This makes them more 'dry' and less sticky.

As for freezing, I tried freezing and they do freeze. This time you want to close the ziplock when storing (I only store two per bag). To thaw, let them rest on the counter until room temperature in the bag with the bag open. When they're close to room temperature, set them outside of the bag so that they can 'dry' out slightly for use.

Makes 6~ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per

Thanks for posting it! Also, I use two rolls per sandwich. They're really hard to slice in half.

I saw that! I need to try it!

Was supposed to make blueberry pancakes out of them this weekend, but certain circumstances prevented me from doing so. But ohhh I want it badly! I'm thinking of just eating that for dinner instead.

Try not to mix the whites and yolk mixture completely!

You want to fold it in. Usually it'll be white and yellow streaky looking. And that's okay Make sure it's still fluffyish like the whites after folding in the yolk mixture. The reason why you don't wanna mix them real well is because when you break down the whites like that, the oopsies will turn out flat. Unless you planned on having pancakes... then ignore me and knock yourself out!

Speaking of pancakes.... I made the blueberry oopsie pancakes for dinner! I totally recommend them! They were amazing. Just like the real thing!

Be sure to beat those whites until they're so stiff they stand up on their own and don't fall out of the bowl if you turn it upside down!

And ever so gently and slowly fold in the yolk mixture.

Oopsie's... there's an art to them.

Well they definitely are beautiful cooking in the oven. However, they've only been in there for about 22 minutes and look done to me. I am smelling them. I pressed the tops and they didn't go in as if they weren't done. Could they have cooked that fast?

I think I'm going to take them out of the oven but they are beautiful geez....
Well they are light, very light. I had one with some peanut butter and it was delightful. Nice to have a bread substitute that looks so good lol.

Thanks for the tips!

Yeah, mine tend to cook really quickly too.

Mine are really brown when I get them out after 30 minutes.

I think my oven is calibrated properly, but ya never know... all ovens are different, so while one person might find they're one in 20 minutes, another might feel the need to leave them in 40 minutes before they ever start to look done.

I didn't taste any egg. It definitely tastes like bread. However, I might leave the salt out next time because the cream cheese is already full of sodium and I wouldn't miss it in the taste. They are very light and look like danish of some sort lol....
