Exactly right, which is probably why body builders have so many carbs in their diet when their trying to bulk up (40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat) as that enables eating past your caloric requirements, at which point your body normally takes measures to stop you from ingesting excess calories--have you ever tried to eat a piece of meat when you aren't hungry? Not easy!
