I was told that too!! I was told, getting your weight down will keep you as you are without making it worse. My doctors are so convinced about low carb now they are just astounded.

This is incredible news pennink! Wow...you get my vote for one of the most inspirational turnarounds ever on this forum.

I'm so impressed with your dedication, your flexibility (in terms of being reasonable about food and so forth), and your determination to make things better.

It goes from fun new clothes, to more energy...to this - heart damage reversed. Amazing

Keep up the fantastic work, and I hope you're proud of yourself pennink. Way to go!!!!

Fantastic!!!

My father died of cardiomyopathy so I am thrilled that this way of eating/living kept another from dying in this way.

My hat is off to you!! Congratulations!!

What fabulous news this is for you....and what is also fabulous is that your health care providers will undoubtedly spread the word to their peers and other patients.

That is truly amazing. I have heart problems myself and hoped dearly that I could reverse the damage. You've made me see that it is possible.

This isn't going to happen. Wanna know why? Because you've worked very hard to do this thing right, and this is just evidence of how well you've treated yourself in the past year.

You've done lots of research, tried different things, but always with a view to eating as well as you possibly can, and refusing to back down.

I really hope you're proud of yourself.

More proof that IF can fix what's wrong with us-- except missing limbs. I had a herniated disk in my back from a fall causing weakness and numbness in my leg, it healed spontaneously in six days instead of six weeks. My broken ankle healed in half the time the Dr's predicted for my age and I was walking in 4 weeks.
