Eaterow and Smile2Much--I put today's RM on a different thread just a few minutes ago.
And Eaterow--I have a big appetite, too....this diet is so great because you can EAT on it.

What thread is it on, SHeila? Also, do you have a journal we can read as to "your CAD story"?

Diet mt. dew is my "orange juice" in the morning! Ha ha. Really, I couldn't do CAD either without my diet soda. I don't gain from it nor do I get cravings. It actually helps me stay on track. I'm weird I guess.

Eaterow, I couldn't agree more with you about Diet Mountain Dew. Nectar of the gods. If you're weird, then I am too!!!

Well, I had my "nectar" this evening for my "cm". I don't eat I just drink at them. I had 2 cans of Diet Mt. Dew for "dinner" because I am always too full from my rm lunch to eat.

Sheilaraye are you 5'4" too like me? What does your hubby think of your CAD plan or is he on it too with you?

What do you think about starting a new board/thread called the CAD/one meal a day rm? I know there is another board called the CAD 2008 Christmas edition. There are a couple gals eating one meal a day with much greater success than using cms. It would be fun to have a board of our own?

It's called CAD '08 New Year New You. There are only a few one meal a day caders. I think we should start our own and then post what we eat for reassurance.

Sheilaraye did you ever mess up the whole time you have been on CAD? Did you always eat just one meal a day or did you start out eating cms?

I would usually eat anything I wanted on Christmas day--just because our family does an all-day buffet type thing. And last year when I got out of surgery? I ate the lemon jello, and the other type of jello I got later that night.....and then every other meal they served me I snarfed right down. I had dreaded hospital food because everyone always talks about how lousy it is. I loved every bite.

SHeilaraye do you like to eat cereal? I think I'll have a few bowls of Frosted Flakes with whole milk and fruit tomorrow. I like the "unhealthy" cereal!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm responding to the initial topic (re: soda) -- I know, I know, you probably have your answer but I had a thought... See, I tend to think that things in moderation are okay... I know people who have like 5 diet cokes a day... i can see how that could potentially stall weight loss, or several coffees a day.. but, i only drink 1 diet coke a day adn i went the extra mile to buy the ones made with splenda... it's my treat at lunch or dinner, but not both... i'm trying my best to make thie a WOE that I can continue for life... if I get too strict on myself, I know I won't succeed... so, yes, i do have 1 diet coke and some (maybe 1/2 cup) coffe/or decaf coffee at some point in the day...
